A little about Terry Mack, Living a Creative Life Catalyst
I am, Terry Mack your guide on your exciting journey to claim your creative freedom and awaken your own creative spirit. My mission in life is to help you embrace your own creative spirit and connect to living your life creatively.
If you have ever said, I can't even draw a stick person, I can't carry a tune in a bucket or any other negative statements about your creativity, I will challenge you to connect to and joyfully explore your true creative spirit and understand the ways it has influenced your life. Creativity in thought and action has become the driving force in my life but it wasn't always that way. I feared the whole idea of myself as a creative person. I was sure everyone had more talent and ability than I could ever possibly have. I argued for my limitations and they became mine yet, all through my life I have used creativity to solve problems, plan events, explore options and it has now become a huge part of my life. As a single parent raising three kids on my own on my income from working for non-profits I came up with creative ways to make individual time for each of my children, create special birthday moments and have mini adventure outings since I was never able to afford to take them on many extended vacations. From these activities, I began to develop an awareness and understanding that creativity and embracing your creative spirit is so much bigger than simply the art, music and writing; the areas we typically think of when we are arguing for the reasons we are not creative. From word of the day projects to creative thinking challenges are some of the many ways I live my life creatively every day. I started playing Native American style flutes in 2006. This has been a very interesting and fun part of my journey of living life creatively. Although I don't read any music, I have made two CD's and now preform and as well as sell these beautiful flutes and help others to find their way into a connection to their own music. |
